R’ Moshe’s hallmark is setting goals and completing them. Having set a goal to complete Shisha Sidrei Mishna with his father by the age of 11 and then setting the next goal of a chazara for his bar-mitzvah, he began to continue to set a series of goals. Semicha on Yoreh De’ah as a bochor, Siyum HaShas with his father soon after marriage, Shiurim on Mishnah Berura and Yoreh De’ah, etc. He teaches his talmidim that one can accomplish tremendous goals if he has a plan, stays focused, and is consistent.
Eitz Chaim guys are taught how to set goals, plan for life, and become accomplished. These are the most mature and accomplished bochorim you will find out there today.
Before joining and heading up Yeshivas Eitz Chaim, R’ Moshe was part of a Choshen Mishpat Kollel and continues to learn Choshen Mishpat as part of his own goals. He is also mastering Hilchos Nidda, Hilchos Mikvaos, and Hilchos Shabbos to prepare shiurim on them. He invites the bochorim to his home regularly for Onegs, BBQ’s and on trips as rewards for the accomplishments and chazara programs he sets with them.
