The objective of the entrepreneurship program for students is to empower the future generation and allow them to gain knowledge and essential skills for success in a dynamic world, within the school framework at Yeshiva Doresh in Florida. An integral part of that will be to make a Parnassa.
As part of this program, students can explore their skills in automotive, carpentry, electric, computers, sound equipment, painting, cooking, drafting software, plumbing, finance, public speaking, debating, first aid, art, music, investing, etc. They will gradually identify which of them actually attract them more than the rest and finally choose that one and build his excellence in it. And he will make a profession using his skill in it in occupational life. This is the power of the entrepreneurship program for students at Yeshivas Doresh learning center in Florida.
Students will find opportunities to develop grit. Grit is the single most important factor in a person’s long-term success. Grades, intelligence, and socioeconomic status do not stack up to the characteristic or the “grit.” Grit consists of passion and sustained persistence applied toward long-term achievement.
Students at Yeshivas Doresh learning center in Florida are taught that the entrepreneurship journey requires more passion and sustained persistence than most other activities. It makes our entrepreneurship-focused program ideal for developing grit in our students.
At the final leg of the program that Yeshivas Doresh calls vocational skills development program, a diagnostic assessment is performed to determine the most probable fields that a student would find comfortable that would blend with his personality and interests. This assessment will help clarify what particular vocation the student should go for his future. It will prove successful later in their career choices whether he becomes an entrepreneur or a professional.
