About Us

Welcome

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to Yeshivas Doresh and Yeshivas Eitz Chaim. This is a place of not only excellence but also of joy, purpose, inclusive community–and tremendous possibilities.

Yeshivas Doresh has made a profound difference in my own life. It was here, years ago, that I found my calling as an educator. I realized the thrill of working with diverse, extraordinarily talented students and colleagues who are committed to accomplishing exciting and meaningful things together and they inspire me. And that’s what continues to motivate me every day. Whether it’s in Torah, Middos, music, athletics, in the arts, in technology, business, in journalism or cooking, or in the classroom, students In Yeshivas Doresh are engaged and inspired. Their minds are open and through finding new opportunities their lives are changed. That’s what I hope for you.

I’m here to foster an environment where we’ll sort this out together.

Come discover Yeshivas Doresh–and discover yourself.

–Rabbi Dr. Mordechai Salfer, Rosh Yeshiva

Yeshivas Doresh is a place where opportunity and interest intersect, in seemingly endless ways. We offer many opportunities such as music, culinary arts, financial and business understanding, construction, computers, sales, etc.

Our objective

We aim to demonstrate to our students that they can have hope. Through gradual accomplishments, they learn that they can have a positive future. The keys are a positive attitude, working with others, responsibility, respect, hard work, and resilience. We prepare them for real life and real situations by teaching them skills for making a parnassa, having a family, and being a role model in their community. We try to make Yiddishkeit meaningful and heartzig, through every Mitzvah, Chessed, Tefilla, Shabbos, and, most of all, Torah.
